10/29/2008 - New Renoir book
Renoir & the Boy with the Long Hair
is a story of the famous painter and
his son, Jean. Renoir loved to paint
long, golden hair so much that he
would not let Jean cut his hair until
he was 7 years old! The story is about
growing up with Renoir as a father--
and finally getting rid of all that
hair. It is the eighth in a series
of picture books about famous artists
and children who shared their lives,
published by Barron's Educational
Series. I recently finished the
ninth-- about Rembrandt.
